I don't care what you pink hatas say.
I am quite distinctly biased towards it.

By the by, pre-"masculine-renunciation" pink used to be considered quite manly because it was just a lighter shade of red.
So there.

Inspired: vintage postcards

I'm developping a new obsession with vintage postcards. I love their tones and time-worn colours, they remind of sorbets and desserts. The almost over-the-top beauty of the photographs is so sugary sweet they practically taste delicious.

I'm now working at the most adorable little store.. and I'm pretty much coveting everything. It's bad news. I indulged my craving today and bought two tiny delicate gold bracelets, but I'm dying for one of the dresses... we'll see.

elements of my future home/things that i must have.

I love the lamp with the tea cups, I've seen a lot of those kinds of found object light fixtures over the last few years, and I think they're so brilliant.
I half tried to make one for my boyfriend for his birthday but it fully did not work.
I bought all these random things from Value Village and attempted to drill through them...
so many things went wrong with that plan.
Christien Meindertsma's giant knit rug is also completely amazing.

I especially love the plates display, it's my goal to find a bunch of cool antique plates like that,
mismatched and cheap!! hopefully... I'm trawling Kensington market today, maybe something will pop up.
